The Barrie Colts held their annual blue and white game Thursday night before a great crowd at the Barrie Molson Centre.

Team White scored four times in the third period en route to a 6-3 victory.

Zach Hall and Josh MacDonald each had two goals and an assist to lead their squad to victory, but the story on this night was local Barrie players finding the score sheet.

Cray Roberge and Ben Skuce both played minor midget in Barrie last season and each tallied a point, as did Barrie native Kyle Stephan.  Jordan Da Silva, a free agent tryout from Barrie, notched two assists before his hometown crowd.

Alex Fotinos and Nathan Colitto out-dueled Mackenzie Blackwood and Andrew Lefebvre to give Team White the win.

Team Blue cracked the score sheet 13 minutes in to the first frame after a bit of a feeling out process for both squads.

Christopher Kravchuk, who looked great in scrimmages earlier in the week, got his team on the board as he hammered a one-timer past Alex Fotinos.  Cray Roberge and Kyle Stephan set up the goal.

Da Silva teamed up with Zach Hall to set up Josh MacDonald just over a minute later to tie the game at one.  MacDonald accepted a pass in the slot and made no mistake beating fifth round draft pick Mackenzie Blackwood.

Team Blue extended their lead to 3-1 in the second period before the White squad came back with a late goal to make it 3-2 after 40 minutes.

Fabrizzio Ricci gave Blue the lead with assists going to Cody Brown and Alex Yuill

Moments later a trio of newcomers came together to give Team Blue a two-goal cushion.  Andreas Athanasiou scored his first of the game from Dylan Corson and Brendan Perlini

With just 94 seconds left Team White cut the lead to one goal when yet another Barrie boy Ben Skuce scored with help from Gus Ford and Hunter Tyczynski.

Returning players dominated the third period as Hall scored twice, Alex Lepkowski also found the back of the net, and MacDonald made a great move on a penalty shot.

Mark Scheifele, Tanner Pearson, Steven Beyers and Mathias Niederberger all sat out of Thursday’s intersquad game.
