Head Athletic Therapist and Strength Coach

After graduating with honours from Brock University’s Bachelor of Science Kinesiology (BScKin) program, Jimmy headed out West to pursue a Post-Graduate Certificate in Athletic Therapy. Attending an intensive one-year program at Mount Royal University, in Calgary, Alberta, Jimmy acquired a wealth of experience, working for the Calgary Hitmen (WHL), the Calgary Colts (CJFL), U16/14 Team Alberta Soccer, and various rodeo athletes.
Upon returning home to the Barrie area, Jimmy worked full-time at Mind to Muscle Sports Conditioning Centre and part-time at the Barrie Colts as an Assistant Athletic Therapist for two full seasons.
Jimmy has now been serving as the Head Athletic Therapist & Strength Coach for the Colts since the 2017/18 season, where he is responsible for the day-to-day medical and strength needs of the team. In the offseason, Jimmy returns to Mind to Muscle as a part of their Elite Summer Hockey Program, where he trains OHL, Junior and Pro level athletes.
