Dr. Gordon A. Crawford M.D., B.Sc., F.R.C.S.(C)
Dr. Gordon A. Crawford is an Ontario trained Orthopaedic Surgeon in full time Orthopaedic practice since 1982. He has post-graduate training in Reconstruction, Arthroplasty, Trauma, Sport Medicine and Pharmacology. He has worked as an Orderly, Emergency Room physician and a consulting Orthopaedic Surgeon.
He was a board member of the Ontario Orthopaedic Association from 1988 to 2009. He served as the Chief of Surgery at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario from 1988 to 1991. He has served as RVH Orthopaedic Lead for numerous terms. He has completed the Advanced Trauma Life Support certification and maintains an active CME agenda.
Dr. Crawford has been the Orthopaedic Surgeon Team doctor for the Barrie Colts throughout their Junior B and Junior A years. He was privileged to be involved in Barrie’s Junior B win of the Sutherland cup in ’92-’93 and a trip to the Memorial Cup in Halifax in 2000 as OHL Champions.
