Vierling Signs With the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Evan Vierling to an American Hockey League contract for the 2023-24 season!

Vierling, who spent 143 games in a Colts jersey set a career-high this season by registering 95 points (35 Goals, 60 Assists) in only 60 games while leading the Colts in points. Following the playoff run, Vierling was named the OHL’s William Hanley Award recipient for the league’s most sportsmanlike player.

Vierling originally joined the Colts in January 2020 via trade from Flint. The Aurora, ON native, finished off his Colts career by being one of the most skilled playmakers in recent times.
