The Barrie Colts are happy to announce the signing of 2020 eighth-round draft pick, Roenick Jodoin.

The 5-6 150lb forward from Cornwall, Ontario was drafted by the Colts in 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft 149th overall in the eighth round.

Jodoin played the 2019-20 season for the Cornwall Colts U18 program compiling 26 points (10 Goals, 16 Assists) in 45 games.

“Jodoin was one of the best surprises of training camp. He came into each skate and caught our staff attention every time. He is great example of a player worked hard on his game and worked his way onto the team” commented Marty Williamson, Head Coach & GM.

Rob Stewart, Assistant General Manager added “Roenick is a quick skater that plays a very well- rounded game and was a player our Ottawa region scouts really loved. He is a player that despite his size, plays the game hard and is always noticeable on the ice. He’s been a great surprise at camp and a player that will quickly become a fan favourite here in Barrie.”
