Colts Sign Jaiden Newton

The Barrie Colts are proud to announce the signing of 2023 Second Round Selection, Jaiden Newton!

Newton, who was selected with the 26th Overall Selection played his U16 season for the Whitby Wildcats U16 program where he registered 31 points (16 Goals, 15 Assists) in 34 games. Suiting up in two games for the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) as an affiliate, he registered two assists.

“Jaiden is a player that likes to play the game with speed and isn’t afraid to get in on the physical play. He plays strong in all three zones while having the ability to create offence. We thought Jaiden had a good development camp and we’re happy to welcome him & his family to Barrie!” Commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson

The 5.11 & 160lb forward will be wearing #84.
