Colts Send Heitzner to the Fish

Barrie, ON– Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Mississauga Steelheads

The Barrie Colts acquire a 6th round pick in 2021 from the Mississauga Steelheads in exchange for 19 year old forward, Kyle Heitzner.

Heitzner,  an Orillia native, was originally drafted by the Barrie Colts in the 11thround (218thoverall) in the 2015 OHL Entry Draft. The 5’10” 172lb Centre, collected 20 points in 110 games with the Colts over the past two seasons.

Mississauga sends a 6th round pick in the 2021 OHL draft in return.

The Colts and Steelheads will have their first meeting of the season on Thursday, October 4thwhen the fish come to the Molson Centre.
