Colts Acquire Haché from Kingston!

The Barrie Colts & Kingston Frontenacs have completed a trade. 

The Colts have acquired Florida Panthers Prospect, Braden Haché, from the Frontenancs in exchange for draft picks. 

Barrie Receives:

Kingston Receives: 

  • 2nd Round Pick – 2024 
  • 2nd Round Pick – 2026* 
  • 4th Round Pick – 2025 
  • 5th Round Pick – 2025 
  • 5th Round Pick – 2025* 

*denotes conditional draft pick

The 6.03 and 210lb defensemen from Newmarket, ON was drafted by the Florida Panthers with the 210th selection in the 2021 NHL Draft. The hard-hitting veteran OHL defenseman has suited up in 120 games for the Frontenancs while registering 19 career-points and 126 PIM.

“Braden has developled into one of the top shutdown defenseman in the league. He’s a hard player to play against and we feel he fits well into our team for the rest of the season and into playoffs. We’re looking forward to start working with Braden.” Commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.
