BRANDT CLARKE AND TEAM CANADA ADVANCE TO THE SEMI-FINALS IN THE U18 HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

On April 1st, 2021 it was announced that defence-man Brandt Clarke would be joining 24 other players to represent Team Canada at the U18 Hockey World Championship in Frisco, Texas.

 

In his first game on April 27th, Brandt had a combined total of 4 points, consisting of 2 goals and 2 assists. His spectacular breakthrough performance led him to be named the Gatorade Canada Performer of the game. Throughout the 5 games played to date, Brandt has tallied up a total of 1 point per game.

 

Canada remains undefeated throughout play thus far:

Canada 12 –1 Sweden (April 27th)

Canada 4 – 2 Latvia (April 28th)

Canada 7 – 0 Switzerland (April 30th)

Canada 5 – 2 Belarus (May 1st)

Canada 10 – 3 Czech Republic (May 3rd – QUARTER-FINALS)

 

With last night’s win, Team Canada officially advances to the semi-finals and are set to take on Sweden on May 5th.

 

The entire Barrie Colts organization and all of Colts Country are cheering on Brandt Clarke and Team Canada in their pursuit of winning the 2021 U18 Hockey World Championship.
