Barrie, ON – The Barrie Colts partnered with Toppers Pizza today to deliver lunch to front workers as a gesture of thanks from the community.
“We all know that front line workers have been under an amazing amount of stress so we wanted to show not only our appreciation, but the appreciation from the whole community, for what they are doing for us all during this very difficult time”, said Howie Campbell, owner of the Barrie Colts. “I want to give a big thank you to Toppers Pizza, our good friends and a great partner of the Barrie Colts, for partnering with us today and to Sean Kehoe, our Food and Beverage Manager, for working with his staff who volunteered their time to come in and cook the Pizza’s”, he added.
“We are very proud to support our front line workers and show our support and appreciation for everything they do”, said Marie Fennell, President of Toppers Pizza. “Our franchisee in Barrie, Hareen Desai, along with his delivery drivers, made all the deliveries today and the Barrie Colts staff did an amazing job cooking so many pizza’s. We are so happy to be a partner with the Colts. We both have the same passion for supporting the community that supports us”, she added.
Toppers and the Barrie Colts delivered Toppers Pizzas to staff at RVH, Barrie Police, 5 Barrie Fire stations, Roberta Place Retirement Lodge and Barrieview Retirement Community.
Thank you to all front line workers who are working so hard for all us right now. We all appreciate you and what you do.
