The Barrie Colts have completed their third trade in just under two days.  After sending Dalton Prout and Stephen Gaskin to Saginaw and Guelph respectively, Barrie has finalized another trade with a Western Conference club.

The Colts sent forward Taylor Carnevale to the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for center Eric Locke and goalie Josh Malecki.

Locke, 17 from Toronto, is in his rookie season and has scored 19 goals and 14 assists for 33 points in 38 games played.

Malecki, 17 from Trenton, Michigan is also in his rookie season and had played in just three games for Windsor this year.

Carnevale departs the Colts after spending parts of three seasons with the club.  Originally acquired from the Oshawa Generals in 2008, the Mississauga native had 29 points in 43 games in his first year with Barrie.

The following year Carnevale posted his best season in the OHL, finishing with 59 points in 67 games and a plus-31 rating.

This season Carnevale had 24 goals and 20 assists in 33 games and was third in team scoring before being traded on Monday.
