Akey & Jelsma Launch Beau’s Buddies!

Beau Akey and Beau Jelsma have teamed up and partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Barrie!

Each Saturday home game will see member(s) of Big Brother Big Sisters Barrie attend a Colts game while taking in warmups from down on the bench.

“It’s always great to give back and get more involved here in Barrie. I really enjoy playing and living here and it’s been great to have a couple of kids out so far just seeing how excited they are to take in a game. Getting to start this up is special and I’m looking forward to growing this program in the rest of my career here” Commented Colts forward, Beau Jelsma.

“It’s been really fun getting more involved and getting out in Barrie this year. Just seeing them having a good time and coming out to cheer us on really makes it special to play here in Barrie. This is something that I’m looking forward to continue to work on throughout the rest of my time here in Barrie” Added Colts defensemen, Beau Akey.
