Kyle Clifford will not be returning to Barrie this season.  The 6’2″ winger played in his tenth game for the Los Angeles Kings Thursday night, ruling out a possible return to the Barrie Colts.

Clifford has played in all but four regular season games for the first place Kings, and has racked up ten penalty minutes while still in search of his first point.  He becomes the third Colt from last season to secure a full time spot with his NHL club, joining Alex Pietrangelo and Alexander Burmistrov.

The Ayr, Ontario native was selected by the Kings in the second round, 35th overall in 2009.  In 184 career games with the Colts, Clifford registered 100 points and over 300 minutes in penalties.
