The Barrie Colts Hockey School is gearing up for Summer with hockey camps kicking off July 4th in Wasaga Beach.  One-week camps will run in Wasaga Beach on July 4th, July 11th and July 18th.

The Barrie Colts hockey school is dedicated to kids in two age-groups; 8-14 years old and 15-19 years old.  The Wasaga Beach camp is available for both day and overnight programs.

“We push the kids pretty hard but in a positive way,” said Colts Assistant Coach Todd Miller, who will be running the camps.  “We look at all on-ice aspects from stick-handling to power-skating and provide plyometrics with our dry-land trainer.”

The Hockey School will also be in Alliston for the week of August 8th, and in Innisfil the week of August 15th.

Kids will be on the ice beginning at 9:00 a.m. each morning and will also receive strength and conditioning training.

Anybody who is interested in enrolling in any of the Hockey School’s can call Todd Miller at (705) 737-6855.
