The Barrie Colts will host their annual pancake breakfast skate with the Colts in support of Easter Seals this Saturday.  The Colts will be skating with fans from 11:30 – 12:30 before serving up a pancake breakfast in the Horsepower Sports Bar and Grill from 12:30 – 1:30.

Barrie is coming off a disappointing loss to Owen Sound on Thursday night and now prepares for the worst team in the Eastern Conference, the Kingston Frontenacs.

Barrie and Kingston opened up the season back on September 22nd and the Colts came out on top of the 7-4 decision.  Tanner Pearson and Zach Hall each had two goals and three assists in that contest as Barrie’s top line produced 14 points.

Hall and Colin Behenna have recorded a point in each game this season, while Pearson is tied with Hall for the league lead in points.

Kingston has lost seven straight games heading in to Friday night’s contest against Brampton, the only team that they have defeated so far this season.  During the Fronts’ seven game slide they have lost only once by three or more goals.

The Colts are in danger of falling to .500 on the season should they lost to Kingston. After Saturday night’s game 14 of the Colts next 19 games are on the road.
