New Colts Excited to Join the Club

The Barrie Colts were very busy at the trade deadline that passed this Tuesday at noon. The team sent a couple players out, but also brought in some new blood. The first move of the day was acquiring 19 year old Centreman, Jason Smith from the Mississauga Steelheads. The day continued at we acquired 17 year old defenseman Robert Proner from the Saginaw Spirit.

Both guys  have now had a chance to settle in to their new surroundings and to let the feeling sink in that they will be dawning the blue and gold.

We spoke to both players about how excited they are to get things started and what they bring to this Colts club.
