Curtis Douglas Wins Education Award for the Month of December

On Saturday night Barrie Colts Forward Curtis Douglas was recognized for his hard work in the classroom with the education award for the month of December.

Curtis is a grade 11 student taking 4 classes. All of his classes are at the University level and include Law, Physics, English, and Co-op. He manages to balance school and hockey with great success and is able to maintain an average of over 80%. Teachers say Curtis works hard in class and is a pleasure to teach.

We’d like to congratulate Curtis on his hard work on and off the ice!
