On Saturday night Barrie Colts Forward Curtis Douglas was recognized for his hard work in the classroom with the education award for the month of December.

Curtis is a grade 11 student taking 4 classes. All of his classes are at the University level and include Law, Physics, English, and Co-op. He manages to balance school and hockey with great success and is able to maintain an average of over 80%. Teachers say Curtis works hard in class and is a pleasure to teach.

We’d like to congratulate Curtis on his hard work on and off the ice!
