Colts Deal MacDougall and DeSanctis to Windsor for Picks

Barrie, ON– Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed 2 trades with the Western Conference, Windsor Spitfires.

In the first deal the Colts acquired a 14th Round Pick in 2018 + Conditional 4th Round Pick in 2020 (BAR) for forward Mathew MacDougall. In the second deal the Colts send Windsor Vincent DeSanctis + 15th Round Pick in 2021 for a 15th Round Pick in 2021 + Conditional 11th Round Pick in 2019.

MacDougall was the Barrie Colts 3rd round pick (58th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection draft. The 17 year old played at St. Andrew’s College last year picking up 37 points in 58 games.

DeSanctis was the Barrie Colts 13th round pick (256th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The 17 year old played with the P.A.L Jr. Islanders 18U team last year, tallying 7 points in 15 games.
