Barrie Colts 25th Anniversary Season Schedule Release

Colts

The Barrie Colts are excited to announce their schedule for their 25th season.  The 25th anniversary in Barrie Colts history will be bringing new and exciting things  that the organization cannot wait to show to our fans.

Last year was a bit of a disappointing year in Colts country as the club missed the playoffs for only the 3rd time in franchise history, but that also meant an exciting off season that brought in some top talent including our 1st round pick (4th overall) Defensemen, Brandt Clarke.

Brandt joins a young group of up and coming stars for the Barrie Colts (who rostered the youngest team in the OHL last season) that look to make a strong push this coming season.

Your Barrie Colts will be kicking off the season in North Bay on Friday, September 20th before coming home to take on the London Knights on Saturday, September 21st in our home opener.

The 2019-20 schedule will breakdown for the Colts nicely this season with only having four times this year where they must play three games in three consecutive nights (once in October, two in January and one in March).

The schedule balances well for the season with January and February being our busiest months.  The Colts away schedule has them playing 1 road game in September, 6 in October, 4 in November, 6 in December, 6 in January, 5 in February and 6 in March.

The home schedule goes as followed: 3 in September, 4 in October, 5 in November, 4 in December, 7 in January, 7 in February and 4 in March.

At home, Barrie will once again play the majority of their games on Thursdays (14) and Saturdays (19) with the one exception being New Years Eve which falls on a Tuesday this season.  The Colts will host the Guelph Storm at 7:30pm in their annual New Years Eve game.  This will be the 6th time Barrie will host Guelph on New Years Eve with the last one coming in the 2013-14 season.
